FishNet 4C Projects

Implementation of fishery restoration projects is of highest priority for FishNet Counties. County Public Works, Parks and Open Space Departments are actively seeking grant funds and implementing projects to restore salmon fishery habitat, including: Removal of Memorial Park Dam in Pescadero Creek

Elimination of fish passage barriers at culverts and removal of small dams blocking salmon migrations.
Completing road restoration projects including installation of rolling dips and outsloping roads to reduce sedimentation.
Using bioengineered streambank restoration techniques in lieu of traditional rip rap.

Over the past five years FishNet Counties have been busy completing assessments and implementing projects for fishery restoration.
